The British Art Medal Society (BAMS) approached Kate Ive and the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop (ESW) to work with 6 ESW members in the production of contemporary art medals. My medal, Purse (2018), was developed through a process of stitching, soft-form making and direct burn-out from a ceramic shell mold. The finished bronze piece weighs just under 900g at approximately 10 x 6 x 2 cm.
